ANSI ASME CLASS 900 LAPPED JOINT FLANGES

Class 900 Lapped Joint Flanges | #900 Sch 40 Lapped Joint Flange | B16.5 #900 Lapped Joint Flange | Lapped Joint Class 900 | ANSI 900 Lapped Joint Flange | ASME 900 Lapped Joint Flange | #900 Lapped Joint Dimensions | 900 Lapped Joint flange schedule chart

Class 900 Lapped Joint Flanges are used with a stub end, which is welded to the pipe. The total cost of a lapped joint flange along with a stub end is around one-third higher than that of comparable welding neck flanges. The fatigue life for the assembly of ANSI Class 900 lapped joint flanges is only one tenth of welding neck flanges and the pressure holding capacity is also comparitively lower. ANSI 900 Lapped Joint flanges are slipped over the pipe. ASME Class 900 Lapped Joint flanges are generally used in piping systems that require regular dismantling for inspection and cleaning. Tesco Steel & Engineering manufacture a wide range of high quality ANSI / ASME Class 900 Lapped Joint Flanges in India. We offer these flanges in ASME/ANSI/DIN standards.

Advantages of using ANSI / ASME Class 900 Lapped Joint Flange

There are several advantages to using a lapped joint flange in piping systems. One of the biggest advantages is the ease of installation and dismantling. The rotating flange ring on the stub end allows the flange to rotate freely, which makes it easy to align during installation. This also makes it easy to dismantle the piping system for maintenance or repair.

Another advantage of using an LJF is the resistance to corrosion and leakage. The LJF does not have a raised face, which means that it can be easily aligned with the stub end during installation. This creates a tight seal that is resistant to corrosion and leakage. The LJF is also designed to be used with a gasket, which provides additional protection against leakage.

Applications of ANSI / ASME Class 900 Lapped Joint Flanges

Lapped joint flanges are used in a wide range of applications, including chemical processing, oil and gas production, and water treatment. They are also used in a variety of industries, including petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage.

LJFs are commonly used in applications where frequent dismantling and assembly are required. They are also used in applications where resistance to corrosion and leakage are important. LJFs are often used in conjunction with lap joint stub ends, but they can also be used with other types of stub ends.
